A pastoral word to The Episcopal Church from the March 2026 gathering of the House of Bishops
The House of Bishops gathered this week at Camp Allen Conference Center in Navasota, Texas, and Bishop Lucinda was among the 122 bishops and bishops-elect representing dioceses across 17 countries. As they concluded their meeting, they released a pastoral letter grounded in the story of the raising of Lazarus — and the call to unbind what is still bound.
