Diocesan Cycle of Prayer on the Last Sunday after Pentecost or Christ the King Sunday
This week, on the last Sunday after Pentecost or Christ the King Sunday, we ask you to pray for Santa Maria Urban Ministry, or SMUM, in San Jose. SMUM provides food, clothing, and supportive services to vulnerable families in San Jose, embodying our diocesan call to serve our neighbors with dignity and hope.
We also ask you to pray for St. Andrew’s, Ben Lomond, and St. Andrew’s, Saratoga. Though they share the same patron saint, these two parishes are unique members of the Diocese of El Camino Real.
As we end our prayer cycle for this year, we also ask your prayers for the entire diocesan community so that we may walk the Way of Love faithfully with one another and serve the Risen Christ in every aspect of our living.
