Good Friday Offering
Good Friday is a day of prayer, reflection, and solidarity with our siblings around the world. One tangible way Episcopalians have expressed that solidarity for over a century is through the Good Friday Offering, a collection that supports life-giving ministries in the Anglican Province of Jerusalem and the Middle East.
Since 1922, these gifts have helped sustain hospitals, schools, orphanages, and humanitarian aid programs that serve people of all faiths, without distinction, in some of the world’s most difficult places. From the Al Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza to St. George’s, the only Anglican church in Iraq, to an eye clinic in war-torn Yemen, the Good Friday Offering keeps hope alive where it is needed most.
Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe writes: “While we pray and work for peace, our siblings in the Holy Land will continue to serve God’s people with hospitals, schools, orphanages, and humanitarian aid programs.” You can read his full letter at the link below.
This Good Friday, we invite you to give. Every gift makes a difference. Learn more and donate at episcopalchurch.org/good-friday-offering.
