Diocesan Cycle of Prayer for the 21st Sunday After Pentecost
This week in the Diocesan Cycle of Prayer, we ask you to pray for St. Luke the Evangelist, Atascadero; St. Luke’s, Hollister; St. Luke’s, Jolon; and St. Luke’s, Los Gatos. St. Luke was a physician and is identified with the church’s ministry of healing. In Colossians 4:14, he is described as “the beloved physician.” Many Episcopal hospitals are named after St. Luke because he is the patron saint of healing and the healing professions. #diocesanprayercycle
