Diocesan Cycle of Prayer on the Third Sunday after Pentecost
This week, on the Third Sunday after Pentecost, we ask for your prayers for St. Barnabas, Arroyo Grande. The congregation’s patron, St. Barnabas, whose feast day is June 11, is known as the “Son of Encouragement” – a fitting name for a parish with a long history of community service. Founded in 1901, St. Barnabas has been serving the Arroyo Grande Valley for over 125 years, including through their beloved Thrift Shop, staffed entirely by volunteers.
