Diocesan Cycle of Prayer on the first Sunday of Advent
This week, on the First Sunday of Advent, we ask you to pray for two congregations who share a patron saint, but reflect very different places and gifts within our diocese.
St. Andrew’s, Ben Lomond (often called “The Little Red Church”), is nestled among the redwoods of the San Lorenzo Valley, offering a close-knit, welcoming community rooted in worship, fellowship, and service since 1899.
St. Andrew’s, Saratoga is located in the heart of Silicon Valley’s west foothills, serving a diverse community through vibrant worship, strong music and education programs, and a deep commitment to outreach, connection, and spiritual growth.
Together, we give thanks for these two St. Andrew’s churches and the many different ways they embody faithful life in Christ.
